Mexico produces about 3 million barrels per day, and consumes 2 MBPD. US consumes about 17 milion barrels per day, and only produces 9 MBPD. The funny part is that I think that Mexico is one of our 3 larger oil supplier giving uo their 1 MBPD to US, next to Saudi Arabia and Canada. Not sure, do some research. Interesting thought.
